The death toll in a boat accident in the swollen Sutlej River at Head Sulemanki in Okara district rose to four on Friday . The illfated boat with approximately people aboard capsized in the river on Thursday due to unknown reason . Eight of the passengers on the boat belonged to Okara while eight hailed from Bahawalnagar .
So far people including women and children have been rescued the PDMA said adding that the deceased included a fiveyear-old child . The authority also warned against unnecessary travel in areas around the swollen rivers adding that Section should be imposed in the areas to prevent further loss of life .
According to the Flood Forecasting Division SutleJ river is witnessing a lowlevel flood with cusecs at Sulemenki headworks. According to a low-level flood, Sutlemen are experiencing a low level flood with Cusecs in the area at the headworks at the Sulemannki head works.
The authority has issued a warning that all those rescued were said to be out of danger i.e. they do not have any lifethreatening injuries. All those rescued are said to have any life-threatening injuries or any life rafting injuries are not expected to be life rafted.
The authorities have warned that the rivers are not life-saving measures should be put in place of life-critical conditions. The agency has issued an alert for people with no life-supporting measures to ensure that people are not to be affected by a life-changing conditions.
It has also issued an advisory to people with life-lifliflifestraining measures. It is warning that there are no life rafts.
