Leftarm fast bowler Wahab Riaz announced his retirement from international cricket on Wednesday . Wahab played Tests ODIs and TIs for Pakistan and last turned out in national colours back in 2010 . He was most recently part of Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League .
He said it was an honour and a privilege to represent Pakistan on the international stage . Later in the day Wahab also addressed a press conference in Lahore where he was asked about the possibility of becoming a coach in the future . Said that the decision would ultimately lie with the PCB but that he would love to coach younger players .
He also asserted that his decision to retire was not an emotional but was rooted in reality. The kind of bowlers the Pakistan team has I think it would be unfair for me to play in the team. So this is not an emotionful decision he said. I believe in reality, he said .
He is thrilled to embarking on a new adventure in franchise cricket where I hope to entertain and inspire audiences while competing against some of the best talents in the world of franchise cricket . He says he would like to go for it in Pakistan or abroad he would go for an opportunity to coach young players.
He said that if an opportunity presented itself in Pakistan Or Else Else Elsewhere he would want to be a coach, he would be going for it. He was also said to be back in the country or to go to Pakistan or to play for an international team. It would be an international cricketer.
He would be back to the international cricket. I am back to Pakistan. I would be looking for a national team. He is back to action. I want to take on international cricket again.
