Wasim Akram has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB to apologise and delete its August video that paid homage to countrys cricketing legends and milestones but made almost no mention of Imran Khan . The video was widely criticised on social media and earned the PCB a ton of flak contrary to what it was supposed to do .
Akram arguably the greatest among an entire generation of cricketers who blossomed under the tutelage of Imran also expressed his displeasure over the snub . Imran Khan is an icon of world cricket and developed Pakistan into a strong unit in his time and gave us a pathway .
The PCB said it had no comment when asked by Dawn Images about Imrans erasure the board said it would have no comment . He was ousted from the top office in and has since embattled a series of legal troubles one of which was the Toshakhana case which he was found guilty of corrupt practices sentenced to three years in prison and is currently incarcerated in Attock Jail .
He is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for a corruption charge following his conviction in the Toshakana case in which he is currently in prison in the Attock jail in Pakistan for three years after he was convicted of corruption charges in a separate case in 2013 .
Imran is currently being held in prison for a conviction of three years. He was found to have been convicted of a corruption case. He has been convicted and is in prison. He is serving a three-year sentence. He remains in a prison. The PCB is currently convicted of two counts.
