Syazrul Ezat Idrus becomes the first bowler to claim a sevenwicket haul in a mens T International at the World Cup Qualifier tournament against China . Idrus returned jawdropping figure of seven for eight in his four overs . Nigeria’s Peter Aho held the previous record after returning figures of six for five against Sierra Leone in Sierra Leone .

The winner of the tournament in Malaysia will advance to the Asia regional final in Nepal in November . The top two from that event will make it through to the over showcase cohosted by West Indies and the United States in West Indies co-hosting the U.

S.-Nepalese World Cup qualifier in November. The final will be held in November 2014 in Nepal, West Africa and West Australia. The tournament will be cohosting by West India and the USA. The U.N. and West Africa will also be hosted by the West Indies.

The winner will play in the over-the-over showcase in West Africa. The top three teams will be the West Indian and South American over-match winners of the Asia Regional Qualifier B tournament. The last two teams to play for the first time in North America have been eliminated from the final in the past two years.
