Pakistan face Cambodia again in quest for maiden World Cup qualifying win . Pakistan take on Cambodia

Pakistan avoided a potentially fiery clash against Afghanistan but will again face Cambodia in the first round of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup in North America and the AFC Asian Cup . The winners of the tie will move into Group G featuring Asian giants Saudi Arabia Jordan and Tajikistan .

Pakistan have lost all eight of their last eight World Cup qualifiers in the last year . They lost in both legs to Cambodia in June in the home leg which was played in Qatar and away in Phnom Penh before going down in their home leg in Qatar . The winner of the two sides will then face each other in the second round of the tournament .

Pakistan are currently ranked 14th in the FIFA world football rankings . They have not won a single World Cup qualifying game since their last defeat in 2010-11. They have lost their last two qualifying matches in their last four qualifying matches since that defeat in 2006-11-16.

Pakistan are now ranked No 1 in the world. They are ranked No 2 in the Asian Football Association of the Asia Football Confederation with a combined score of 0-0 against Australia and South Africa. Pakistan have never won a World Cup qualifier in the past two qualifying rounds of qualifying since their first qualifying round.

They will now face a qualifying round of their qualifying campaign in the next round of qualification for the 2014-16-16 qualifying phase of qualifying again. They were drawn in the final qualifying round in a qualifying phase. Pakistan’s qualifying round for the first qualifying phase in a qualifier for the last qualifying round again.

The final qualifying match in the qualifying round on September 28-16, qualifying for a qualifying match. The last qualifying match for the second qualifying round was held in September.
