Afghan supreme leader Akhundzada warns fighters against attacks abroad . He warns fighters

Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid said fighting outside Afghanistan is not religiously sanctioned jihad but rather war which had been barred by Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada . The remarks come after Islamabad said militants behind a spate of suicide attacks in Pakistan were being helped by Afghan citizens across the border .

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stopped short of accusing Afghanistans Taliban government of knowingly allowing attacks from its soil . Pakistan has witnessed a dramatic uptick in militant attacks focused on its western border regions claimed by both the banned TehreekiTaliban Pakistan TTP and IS .

The TTP has waged a bloody campaign of bombings and other attacks across Pakistan . The Taliban authorities insist they do not allow the countrys soil to be used by armed groups plotting against other nations. Pakistan has seen a dramatic increase in attacks on its Western border regions.

The Taliban have waged a dramatic spike in attacks in recent years. The Islamic State group has launched a series of attacks on the border regions of eastern Pakistan.

The militant Islamic State Group has claimed responsibility for many of these attacks. The IS has also been blamed for several recent attacks in the past year. The Pakistani government has been accused of supporting the Taliban’s efforts to establish the TTP’S ‘Jawah’ in the last year’.
