Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assures international donors that funds given for flood victims will be spent judiciously. Earlier in the day he inaugurated eight different mega projects including gas electricity and infrastructure schemes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He continued to attack his predecessor PTI chief Imran Khan saying that the latter had only misled and provoked the youth. Blaming the PTI regime for all ills from a surge in circular debt and loadshedding to backbreaking inflation and spoiling the IMF programme he said his government has done well to rescue the weak economy it had inherited.
